Anthony spent his childhood exploring the English countryside in the 1960's.
Often without adult supervision, as was normal for the time, he wandered on foot or on bike around Norfolk. He became interested in the pieces of history that he saw all around him.
When he moved to New York, a way to celebrate birthdays and holidays was to make a cake, inspired by the cakes his mother used to make him.
When Anthony got married and had his daughter, Kate, he made sure to create special cakes and pass on the stories he acquired growing up. Over the years, the cakes have exponentially increased in skill and awe and his love of stories have been written into a series of books.
