Kate’s Wedding Cake

Many years ago, Kate had sent some pictures of the kind of cake she wanted as a wedding cake. They involved fondant flowers and I had no clue how to make them. Two months before the recent wedding - still no clue. Fortunately, someone had given me a book, The Art of Modern Cake, by Heidi Moore Holmon which taught me how, so props to Heidi. Never spent more time on a cake than this, never a more important one than this.
