The Rose Painting Cake

Michelle gave me some beautiful roses some years ago. I took some photos of them in full bloom and sent them to Kate. She then painted a two-foot-tall close-up of the roses as a present for Michelle. So for Kate’s 30th birthday cake, I decided to continue the theme, recreating her painting as it was in progress (she likes oil pastels).
