The Cheshire Cat Cake and Red Rose Tree

Tristan’s 5th birthday had two pieces on the theme of Alice in Wonderland. First, we needed a cake, and who better than the Cheshire Cat for that? The cake is Victoria Sponge with piped butter icing. Michelle is an excellent party organizer and I suggested contributing with a “painting the roses red” tree, where the kids could paint the white paper roses red.
