The Folded Quilt Cake

Mary Ellen loves to quilt and this was the second quilt cake I’ve made. She has been making quilts for many years and is involved with a number of quilting groups. For her 73rd birthday, I made her this folded quilt cake, using the “Flock of Birds” quilt pattern (bird watching is one of my interests). I made a hard pattern to create the triangular forms.
