The Game of Thrones Dragon Cake

Kate was a massive Game of Thrones fan so for her 28th birthday, I sculpted a stone castle and Khaleesi’s three dragons out of marzipan for decoration. Sending a cake from New York to San Diego is a particular challenge, not only for the integrity of the cake, but also for the time in shipment. Fortunately, Kate’s English half allows her to like fruit cake, (Dundee), which benefits from a week to brew. It also has the consistency to allow it to travel.
