The Upstate House Cake

The kids had spent almost a year in quarantine away from everyone else at their upstate house. To me, the house took on a character worthy of celebration. For Dylan’s 17th birthday, I made him the house, and enjoyed hearing of the progress of rooms being eaten over the following few days.
